Xiamen Marriott Hotel covers an area of more than 60,000 square meters and features 366 contemporary rooms and suites. With only a few steps away to the seaside, this fantastic location hotel is designed to cater for the guests who are looking for an escape from their corporate retreats in CBD and offer a more relaxing and unique meeting destination.

Art Farm

Art Farm is a guest house in Nanjing, China, created from a former farmhouse. The building covers about 1200 square meters. The first floor holds a reception area, a multifunctional room, a dining room and a guest room. Six guest rooms are placed on the second floor, and one large guest room with a bathtub is on the third floor. Brass details and abstract geometric shapes are combined with local Jiangnan elements. The walls are dark blue, and the furniture and sofas are red and orange. The interior aims to give guests an immersive experience of art.

Hohobare Amahare

To express the energy of the sun and the full moon, the starting point of the design concept, Conception used plastering art to express the waves of sunlight and the spawning of coral on a moonlit night with lighting effects, successfully creating a highly sensitive design space that does not feel like a small space.

Future Forest

Future Forest is a serviced apartment interior located in Guangzhou, China. The project covers 1000 square meters and belongs to a larger residential development. The design uses the metaphor of a 24-hour living theater to answer the varied rental needs of young city residents. Metal and acrylic surfaces are combined with strong red, blue, green and yellow tones, and layered blocks of color define each area. Shared rooms include a mobile gaming hall, a doll machine area and a quiet reading zone, so the apartment also serves as a social space.

Fresh

Fresh is the interior design of a business hotel located in a busy business district of Istanbul. The complex covers 10,000 square meters and holds 128 rooms and a spa area of 1,000 square meters. In contrast to the traditional Ottoman style common in the city, the interior is modern and minimal. Blue and green tones refer to the Bosphorus and are intended to create a calm and refreshing mood. Marble, natural fabrics and carpets with bird motifs are used. Mirrors and natural plants make the lobby appear wider and brighter.

Kyotology

The book “In Praise of Shadows” by Junichiro Tanizaki and research about traveller’s behaviors in Kyoto formed foundation of this project. Tanizaki stated that Japanese blessed shadows over the light throughout history which lead to Japanese traditional architecture such as intertwining exterior and interior. The research showed travellers in Kyoto are highly interested in its culture and history, therefore the team set “Unwind and Explore” as a concept and created a hotel where the guests are encouraged to learn, experience and relax.
