Sky Lounge

Kolhapur is known for rich heritage of art, architecture and culture of India. The suburb of Kolhapur is a textile hub of India. Designers have taken local context and have used recycled Paper Tubes that are used to roll the fabric. Creating an experience through fusion of sustainable and Natural Materials with organic pattern is the key factor in this design. Designers have taken advantage of natural breeze through to evolve the concept of creating interactive ceiling. Waves formed by the pattern of paper tubes oscillate with the wind that creates drama and interaction keeps guests engaged.

Luoyue

As a popular resort hotel with 400 guest rooms, coping with the peak flow of people when checking in and checking out at the same time has become the primary factor to consider the plane layout of the hotel lobby. Therefore, the hotel lobby adopts two island rest areas, a one-line reception desk and self-service check-in and check-out procedures to carry out the plane layout design. The restaurant space design uses the shear wall with dense original buildings to create a highly rhythmic ceiling to weaken the pressure of the shear wall.

Zamek Na Skale

The project of reconstruction and interior design of the Zamek Na Skale into a hotel with a high functional standard is a unique project by bringing out and emphasizing its individual historic values. The historic rooms have been preserved, the original elements of the décor have been restored, and the secondary divisions of the rooms have been removed. For the comfort of guests, a clear layout of functions and modern technical solutions has been introduced.

Creeks

Designers started with the concept of sustainable development and designed this equipment together with customers. They hope to take the recycling of kitchen waste as an opportunity to let the environmental protection concept penetrate into every restaurant and family, and provide higher quality kitchen waste treatment services for remote islands, plateaus, and other places in need, which can not only reduce the environmental problems caused by kitchen waste but also reduce the pollution caused by back and forth transportation, contribute to carbon neutrality and sustainable development.

AgoraFloreasca

The project refers to the interior, landscape and lighting design of the communal areas of a new destination and leisure service small scale mall. The deliverable was to create by spatial design a laid back atmosphere, right in the heart of Bucharest. A welcoming, upper scale and experiential gathering point, so that it could become a community based destination and experience provider. The proposal focused on Research Informed Design, Future Cities design methodology and Storm water Management Practices with a view to establishing a sustainable urban place to be embraced by all.

Maison Francois

The design of Maison Francois aims to evolve the brasserie genre. Rather than looking to the Art Deco period for inspiration, GSL embraced Postmodernism and Brutalism, most notably referencing Ricardo Bofill’s La Fabrica in Barcelona, with its grand terracotta arches and rough cement ceiling. The layout of the restaurant nevertheless follows a classic brasserie format, with noble materials throughout and details that evoke iconic establishments of the past.
