Fogo Island Shed

Designed around the notion of 'slow eating', the space is intended to foster a social approach to dining, with a long table set alongside an open plan kitchen. The new building combines contemporary forms with traditional techniques, evoking a strong sense of place through the simplicity and porosity of its interior and exterior volumes. Essentially a simple timber shed, the structure uses the studio's trademark tilted and twisted geometry to create visual drama, as part of the wild landscape.

Hubertus

The Hotel Hubertus is located in Valdaora, at the foot of the famous ski and hiking area Kronplatz in the Puster Valley (Italy) at an altitude of about 1350 m. The family establishment was generously enhanced and enlarged with 16 new suites, a new kitchen with restaurants and -Stuben-, an entrance area with lobby, reception and wine cellar and a fitness and a relaxation room with panoramic terraces. The new 25 m long cantilevering pool, functioning as a connector between old and new, underlines the essence of this comprehensive renovation and renewal project.

Art Farm

The mission to design the guesthouse is in a way that bring the guests an immersive experience of art. The concept of this guesthouse is by using brass element and abstract geometric shapes to create a new Art Deco style guesthouse and integrate with Jiangnan elements, walls in dark blue, furniture and sofas in red and orange,curtains with brass colour at the bottom part in order to present a combination of Chinese and Western luxury taste space.

The Experience Floor

The Experience Floor at Hotel NH Brussels Bloom is a new meeting concept designed to emphasize artistic inspiration and relaxation. When companies or organizations meet somewhere other than in the online space, the experience calls for something special. NH Brussels Bloom secured Virserius Studio to meld clever art and design to make meetings more productive. The opening of the space in Fall 2016 was important in more ways than one; it coincided with the hotel’s 10-year anniversary, and it also signaled continued faith and confidence in Belgium's hospitality industry.

F Bistronome

As the night falls F Bistronome can be seen as a transparent jewel box elevated above the Central Business District in Beijing. Taking its place amongst the most glamorous of Beijing’s many fine dining spots, this restaurant pays homage to the Art Deco movement with its dynamic copper trusses, jewel dripped chandeliers and channel tufted seating. The gemstone colour scheme of sapphires set in gold are reflected within the mirror paneled columns and support F Bistronome ambience as a sophisticated jeweled crown of a restaurant.

Oases

At Newark Liberty International Airport, previously underutilized corridors containing moving walkways were re-purposed to feature expansive food and beverage offerings in fresh "oases." Each oasis has a different restaurant or bar and is approximately three meters wide by forty-six meters long. Going beyond simple structural solutions, the designs create an appealing sense of place in the formerly bleak airport hallways. The experience is further enhanced with the numerous site-specific artworks that have been commissioned from established artists and incorporated into each oasis.
