In 2017 this family-run hotel near Bressanone (IT) underwent major renovation and extensions, with an entire restyling. 16 new suites, the new pool and wellness area, directly on the small natural lake “Flötscher Weiher” correspond with the new design and management concept: to place nature and the recreational value as the point of focus.
Continue readingKopp in local Goan language means a glass of a drink. Whirlpool formed by stirring a drink in a glass is visualised as a concept for this project. It portrays the design philosophy of repetition of a module generating patterns.Keeping central column as the base and wrapping ceiling around it is conceived by using a module of PVC drainage pipes and Y bends. Further the curve in horizontal as well as vertical plane is enhanced using curved panels of plywood cladded with veneer. Use of Drainage pipes continue on the outdoors with bright colours to establish continuity from indoors to outdoors.

Unconventional use of Engine parts for the interior decor is the uniqueness of this restaurant. Designers wanted to emphasis on a relationship between automobile manufacturing hub of Pune and the craft beer of Effingut. Theme of automobile engine parts thus evolved.
Continue readingAn open terrace on high building is a natural invitation for great views, vapour provides these views from its terraces by surrounding it's guests with natural plants and shaded avenues all around. The sculptures sitting on the beam at the entrance signify that this place is for one and all patrons greeting them with voluminous spaces.

Tama means copper in an Indian dialect, which has been thoroughly used here in color and spirit of copper which is the purity of metal along with its energy that is carved and staged in the form of figurines and coins all around starting from the main entry foyer and on to the toilets that have infinity mirrors.
Continue readingvapour is a chain of restaurants, on the concept of a stock exchange, the restaurant had to be an informal place where their is visual connect among all guests, a feeling of a large gathering of people was desired to be generated where, everybody is in a bidding war for their drinks. A non imposing, high ceiling, large volume space has thus been achieved in this space using most materials as is in their natural finish.
