Kyotology

The book “In Praise of Shadows” by Junichiro Tanizaki and research about traveller’s behaviors in Kyoto formed foundation of this project. Tanizaki stated that Japanese blessed shadows over the light throughout history which lead to Japanese traditional architecture such as intertwining exterior and interior. The research showed travellers in Kyoto are highly interested in its culture and history, therefore the team set “Unwind and Explore” as a concept and created a hotel where the guests are encouraged to learn, experience and relax.

Lumiere Residence

A Serviced Residence located in the heart of Phnom Penh City Centre. With an emphasis on personable service and curated settings, this 166-room property is designed as a sanctuary for all to enjoy, be it long or short stay, with an elevated and the highest living standards. The spaces and surfaces are carefully crafted to amplify the effect of the facade shadow and light, black & white, minimalist monochromatic design methodology;- to aid its dweller in the process of relaxation, and to unwind at the end of everyday with the design elements of comfort, minimalism and decluttering

Banboo Windows

Yuanye is the first monograph in China to comprehensively explain the principles of gardening, which is inseparable from China's long tradition of gardening, and reflects the highest state of human nature relations.The designers extracts the important landscape elements bamboo, combined with the traditional Chinese court etiquette and lyrical scenery and created a modern mansion with literary elegance and oriental courtyard order. This project has set up a variety of functional spaces such as the reception area, display area, conversation area, reading area, children's area, etc.

Serenity Suites

Serenity Suites lie in the Nikiti, Sithonia settlement in Chalkidiki, Greece. The complex is comprised of three units with twenty suites and a swimming pool. The building units mark out a profound shape of spatial horizon while offering optimal views towards the sea. The swimming pool is the core between accommodation and public amenities. The hospitality complex constitutes a landmark in the area, as an extrovert shell with inner qualities.

W Atlanta

Arthur is a native Atlantan from the neighborhood located behind W Atlanta Midtown. Virserius Studio’s concept for the hotel is the recreation of Arthur’s estate and secret garden, decorated with his awe-inspiring collection of art and other items obtained during his extensive world travels. From the moment guests arrive they are transported into Arthur’s unique world and surrounded by his most treasured collections. They are embraced by the dramatically curved and abstract walls of the entry that set the tone for what’s to come.

Wolo Hotel

The most unique feature in this design is that the project reflect Malaysian culture as well as Wolo brand value in a contemporary, creative and bold way. An enormous amount of thought, consideration, attention to details has gone into every aspect of the project. There are so much to be shared and one of them is Kuala Lumpur long and glorious history of pewter products. The hotel reception counter and entrance grand handle is handmade and finished with custom pewter.
